Andrew brings over 20 years of experience in advocacy, fundraising, and campaign managing. His experience includes serving as the Associate Vice President for Policy and Advocacy for Save the Children’s U.S. Programs. In this role he oversaw public and private fundraising in excess of $15 million annually and served as the lead for policy change on issues impacting children in rural America.
Carol Hazen came to the Reading Roadmap from the Rudd Center for Food Policy & Obesity where she served as the Director of Advocacy Resources for three years. Carol was a member of the Leadership Team where where she contributed to the development of the Center's strategic plan, communications approach, and fundraising goals.
Family Engagement Director
Steven Thorpe is a Licensed Professional Counselor with Masters Degrees in Education, School Counseling, and Transformational Leadership. He has worked as a teacher, teacher trainer, school counselor, consultant and brings decades of experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
Program Operations Manager
Kimberly Muff served as a grant writer for Via Christi Healthcare and an English instructor/advisor at Cloud County Community College. During her tenure, she developed and implemented several federal grant projects including Title III Strengthening Institutions, TRIO Student Support Services, and a Department of Energy wind turbine project which now provides power to the entire campus.
